Does a 10 meter stereo cable need amplifier?

Hi

I am connecting my TV audio output to stereo speakers which is 10 meters away.

And I am using a 10 m stereo cable for connecting them.

- Will the quality of signal be lost due to the long distance
- Do I need to amplify before I send the signal considering the distance

Do you or have you heard someone refer to a flat screen TV as “the tube” even though it is not?

Do you think this nickname will still remain?

What children’s TV-show is this? 80s or early 90s?

I only kind of remember the intro. There’s a boy who is in a library or a bookshop, and the books fall down and colours fly around, and then it becomes a cartoon. And in the show he becomes part of different books. It’s all very exciting. I think the way it was drawn kind of like the cartoon “Bill and Ted’s excellent adventures”.. the same style. Anyway, I really hope somone knows what I’m talking about, even though I can’t really explain it very well. Thank you.

How much should I sell my 27″ Symphonic TV for?

I bought it 6 years ago, it is still in great cond. It is NOT a flat screen.

We just got a big screen TV, so I need to sell this one.
My neighbor is interested in it, but i have no clue on how much it is worth.

2 Month Old Hewlett Packard HD 42″ Plasma stopped working! How can I get Best Buy to speed up their service?!

We purchased this tv on the 1st of September, and a week ago my daughter turned it off manually (as opposed to using the remote) and it never turned back on again. The screen won’t come on at all. We bought the full 3 year warranty ($300!) and yet Best Buy can’t get anyone here to look at it until Nov. 10th!! It took them 5 days (3 “business days” plus a weekend) to even find a service tech who works on HP’s, and that company is in another state! (We are in Idaho, the company is in Oregon.)

Best Buy is not working hard enough to appease us and I’m wondering if I have any recourse or is there any way to make them satisfy me? I’m so angry that we’ve only had this $1800 television for 2 months and it’s already down! What a piece of crap! And I doubt I will EVER purchase anything from Best Buy again!!!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why can’t all TV channels be free to air?

Don’t TV channels make enough money by adverts? I don’t get this Virgin Media vs Sky thing. Why don’t Sky get rid of all of its channels on Virgin Media to try to get rid of the competition? I can also understand why they are going to put 4 premuim channels on freeview to replace the free Sky channels. they will do this because it will get rid of the Top Up TV competiton, thus freeview looking more like Sky.

How much did it cost to replace 3/4 inch subfloor (please note in units that will convert to 600 sq ft)?

I am having a flooring inspector out next week to see about replacing the subflooring before putting down new carpet. Anyone have experience with how expensive that is? There are three rooms, approx. 12×15, plus short hallway (total about 600 square feet). Thanks!

What online TV networks can I get my web series on?

Not professional ones, they won’t give me a chance.

I’m already on VBC, which is mainly written series and mine is filmed, so I’d like to know if there’s one dedicated to purely filmed series?
